For the 2025 finale, we are delighted that Ukrainian violinist, Aleksey Semenenko has stepped in at the last minute to make his Festival debut, performing Tchkaikovsky's ever popular Violin Concerto. Aleksey's refined, impassioned and commanding playing identifies him as inheritor of the great Odessa violin tradition and earned him places on both the BBC New Generation Artists scheme and Young Concert Artists in NewYork, bringing him to the attention of audiences across Europe and the US. We are very much looking forward to welcoming him to Chipping Campden.
The Festival Orchestra bring the curtain down on the 2025 Festival with Brahms' final symphony, a work of such profound depth that many consider it to be his greatest masterpiece.
