The Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective’s concert in 2024 was so wonderful we quickly hatched a plan to bring them back in 2025 for a special mini-residency spread over the middle weekend of the festival. The members of the Collective each enjoy highly successful solo careers and we are proud to be able to present 3 concerts showing off both their individual and collaborative artistry and versatility.
For the first concert of their residency Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective co-founder Elena Urioste (violin), who gave a wonderful performance of the Elgar Violin Concerto in the 2024 festival, and Laura van der Heijden (cello), 2012 BBC Young Musician of the Year, give a lunchtime concert featuring iconic solo pieces for their instruments.
